JAWS!
yes..sadly, that is me in a wetsuit. i apologize if my lack of a good tan blinds you guys! this was one of the most memorable parts of my vacation to cancun. it was wild to say the least. logan and i headed down the road to a place which claimed you could “feed the sharks from a cage underwater.” i was sold. i shelled out the 50 bucks, zipped up, and went under…
i went underwater in this glass cage/case..and got to hold and dangle pieces of huge dead fish to the group of large bull sharks. i had swam with dolphins the day before..which included grabbing and riding on them by their dorsal fins (it’s totally safe and doesn’t hurt them) and got to ride and get pushed on them by their noses like jet skis. some of the most fun i’ve ever had. it was like night and day. two VERY different experiences. i would recommend both to all of you.
i was wowed. the sharks were amazing. it truly was fascinating. these creatures were some of the beautiful and smart i had ever come into contact with. though a bit scary at first..it was truly amazing to get to see them face to face and first hand. even if they were slamming against the cage i was in headfirst trying to eat me for a nice little brunch. (pancakes not included) This trip to cancun was really refreshing..it was really nice to get away for awhile and not have to worry about anyone or anything. it gave me a chance to breathe, and gave me a few days to just enjoy life and all of the simple things about it.
what i’m trying to say is LIVE LIFE. don’t be afraid to stick your neck out there and to try something new. think outside the box a bit. those are the moments you’ll carry in your pocket until the day you die and the fat lady sings. i love you guys…i have much more from cancun that i’d love to share..i should be posting more and more blogs this week! a few surprises are coming your way…maybe a new song clip..!!! hmmmm….. ;)
